…ultrasound…

My father had undergone another series of laboratory tests yesterday. He needed those tests to determine what causes the pain at his back. An ultrasound of his back was also necessary to check everything in his body.

A sonographer helped him to have the ultrasound needed. I believe sonography technician went to sonography schools for their training. I’m a little overwhelmed to know that there was a sonography tech to help you out; I thought they are just called medical technicians. :-)

I hope those tests would really help my father’s doctors to verify what’s good for his health.

…career…

Summer time, it’s the time of the year that some of us are waiting for. It’s the time to have fun and soak our weary bodies under the sun. But it’s also the time where in newly graduate high school students are roaming and checking their prospected schools.

Some of the most sought schools are the one who provides medical know how. That includes my sister; she wanted to be a nurse because of the demand for those kinds of workers. And to attain that goal, she must enroll to a cna school.

Lots of schools nowadays provide cna training for those who wanted to reach their goal to become a certified nurse. They offer cna programs that will surely cultivate someone’s knowledge to that particular field.

And as for my sister, she’s now taking up psychology. Well, she realized that nursing is not her cup of tea.

…articles…

When I was in my college years, I always dreaded professors who love to ask their students to write reports about something. Some people may be fond of doing reports but not me. I’m not really good in writing, paragraph by paragraph, since I can’t put my thoughts together (it’s somewhat evident to some of my entries here).

Just recently, I’ve accidentally got a page where you can submit articles so they can check if what you’re doing or writing or composing is good enough for your own convenience. And what’s fun about this is that you can learn from errors done by other contributors. It will also supply tons of elements and options that you can choose since almost all topics that you can think of are listed and available for everyone who needs assistance. This would be very helpful for me right now since I’m currently on training and some topics pertain to what I need to learn during my training.

I’ve checked one of the articles and it’s a step by step procedure about doing a program. When I’m on my dreamy state, I’ve always wanted to learn programming to its core. And it seems that with these articles that dream could be a reality.

Come to think of it, I can also help others by submitting some of my so-called articles (if ever I’ll be able to do one good article).

The 10 Most Annoying Alarm Clocks

#10 – Climbing clock. It hangs above your head and starts climbing while it rings. Don’t wake up fast enough, and you won’t be able to shut it up without a ladder.

# 9 Wake Up Puzzle. You have to build the puzzle to make it stop

# 8 Wake or Curse. You can ask it what the time is and it will answer. But if you don’t wake up quickly enough it will curse you.

# 7 High Tech. This one has a vibrator, 95 db alarm and police style rotating light that you cannot ignore.

# 6 Find The Pin – You need find the right pin to stop it’s ringing. Not going to stay sleepy after this mission.

# 5 Chicken and Egg Problem – The egg laying alarm clock. It will only quiet down after you put all the eggs back.

# 4 GI Joe. You will wake to the sound of your commander’s wake up call. Don’t mess with it.

# 3 Floating Around – Will float around the room until you’ll catch it.

# 2 Kaboom – This acoustic grenade will wake the neighborhood with it’s ultra loud sound level.

# 1 Hide and Seek – The winner is the hide and seek alarm clock. Once it begins to ring it falls down to the floor and finds a random place to hide. Chase it down or else you’re doomed.

…tech…

I always go to this particular pharmacy not just to buy medicine but my stock of wet tissues (it’s very hot right now since it’s summer time and wet tissues really help). And every time I pay my goods, those people in uniform are waiting and ready to take your cash. I believe they’re called pharmacy technician.

One of my cousins once got a job as a pharmacy tech. She often told me about the responsibilities she needed to do everyday. There are also times that I’ve asked her for the name of the medicine I needed. But I never asked her how much she’s earning. I wonder how much a pharmacy technician salary is.
